Memo dated January 22, 2002 from Beth Clark to Paul Agid summarizing environmental documentation for the Summit Ridge fill source in Bellevue, Washington, related to Port Of Seattle Third Runway construction. Documents a sequence of events in October 2000 in which petroleum-impacted soil from a former home heating oil tank at the Summit Ridge site was hauled to and subsequently removed from the Third Runway embankment. Approximately 1,540 tons of soil were removed on October 6–7, 2000 and disposed of at a facility in Everett, Washington. Hart Crowser served as the engineering firm for the site owner; Sellen Construction identified petroleum odors on October 5, 2000. Includes a Supplement Environmental Review Sheet (AR019670) reviewed by E. Clark on 1/24/01, noting four instances of petroleum-impacted soil encountered during excavation.
