Existing (2013) Noise Exposure Map for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, prepared by Landrum & Brown under 14 CFR Part 150 Study Update, certified by Elizabeth Leavitt, Director of Aviation Planning and Environmental Programs, Port of Seattle. Shows DNL 65, 70, and 75 dBA noise contours around Sea-Tac Airport runways 16L/16C/16R and 34L/34C/34R. DNL 65+ dBA contour covers 5.9 square miles with 1,887 housing units and estimated population of 4,879 across jurisdictions including Burien, SeaTac, Des Moines, Tukwila, Normandy Park, Kent, and King County. Existing land use mapping identifies schools, churches, hospitals, nursing homes, libraries, and historic sites within noise contours. Includes permanent noise monitor locations (W-series, H-series, L-series, N-series, S-series) and temporary noise monitoring sites.
