Appendix H Official Noise Exposure Maps

This document presents the official Noise Exposure Maps (NEMs) for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), developed as part of a Federal Aviation Administration Part 150 noise study. It includes maps showing aircraft noise impact areas for both 2022 existing conditions and projected 2032 future conditions, along with the flight track data used to model noise levels across surrounding communities such as Burien, SeaTac, Tukwila, and Des Moines. The maps were generated using the Aviation Environmental Design Tool (AEDT) and depict noise contours overlaid on land use data to help inform airport noise compatibility planning.
