    The Port of Seattle completed a Draft Environmental Assessment for the Sustainable Airport Master Plan Near-Term Projects, evaluating potential impacts across 15 categories including noise, air quality, and water resources. The assessment found that surface transportation impacts are significant but can be mitigated, while other identified impacts remain within regulatory and human health standards. A 45-day public comment period ran from October 21 to December 5, 2024, with public meetings held in SeaTac, Burien, and Des Moines, and a final decision document expected by mid-2025.
