Fact Sheet No. 7 from the Sea-Tac Communities Plan (Sea-Tac International Airport and Vicinity Master Plan Project), dated June 7, 1973, describing the formation and purpose of the Policy Advisory Committee (PAC). The PAC was established under a grant agreement between the Port Of Seattle, King County, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) executed January 29, 1973. Members include Don Shay (Director of Aviation, Port Of Seattle, chairman), Thomas M. Ryan, Edward B. Sand, Richard D. Ford, Eleanor Lee, Jean Pihlman, Robert K. Williams (City Manager, Des Moines), Arthur H. Yoshioka, Robert K. Joerger (Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.), and Robert O. Brown (FAA Chief, Airports Division, NW Region). Companion July-August 1973 newsletter covers PAC and Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) meetings, community task forces on noise abatement, drainage, water quality, and near-term programs, and draft project goals covering responsiveness, involvement, compatibility, certainty, implementation, and coordination.
