Port Of Seattle SEPA Determination of Non-Significance (DNS), POS SEPA No. 01-19, dated October 17, 2001, signed by Michael Feldman, Director of Aviation Facilities, as SEPA Responsible Official. Concerns the proposed lease of a 19-acre site on Des Moines Memorial Way between South 160th Street and South 164th Street to the FAA for construction of a Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facility at Sea-Tac Airport. Proposed facility includes a 2-story 50,000 square foot building, parking for 150 cars, internal access roads, emergency generator, guard house, and landscaped grounds occupying 9 acres; remaining 10 acres consist of wetlands with a 100-foot buffer. Determination made under RCW 43.21C and WAC 197-11; no Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) required. Public comment period closed October 31, 2001; appeals via writ of review in King County Superior Court within 21 days per Port of Seattle Resolution No. 3211.
