Notes
Draft memorandum dated October 5, 2001, from Todd Pollard and Linda Logan to Port Of Seattle project files (project 556-2625-002), summarizing chemical analysis of STIA receiving stream stormwater samples collected January 14, 1999. Samples collected from 8 locations during a 1.18-inch storm event with 86-hour antecedent dry period; analyzed for total and dissolved concentrations of copper, lead, and zinc, plus total organic carbon (TOC), dissolved organic carbon (DOC), total hardness, and total suspended solids (TSS). Flow-weighted composite samples processed by Parametrix, Inc. and analyzed by Aquatic Research. Hardness-dependent Water Quality Standards per WAC 173-201A-040 calculated for each metal at sampling stations including SDS-3, Miller Creek Downstream, Walker Creek, DMC-W, DMC-E, and other sites. All metals concentrations fell below hardness-corrected water quality standards. Related to Third Runway EIS and Pollution Control Hearings Board (PCHB) proceedings. AR numbers AR 023896–AR 023898.
