A Letter of Agreement (LOA) effective December 6, 2010, between Seattle Terminal Radar Approach Control (S46), Seattle Air Traffic Control Tower (SEA), and the Port of Seattle establishing a Noise Abatement Informal Runway Use Program for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (KSEA). The LOA outlines preferred runway assignments for arrivals and departures under various weather and traffic conditions, including south flow operations during good weather and low visibility. The program is voluntary and applies to all turbojet aircraft weighing 12,500 pounds or more.
