Highline School District No. 401 Capital Projects Update presentation dated May 23, 2012, covering newly constructed facilities. Details funding sources for replacement school projects including Voter Approved Bond 2002 Funds, Voter Approved Bond 2006 Funds, State Construction Assistance Funds, Port of Seattle / FAA Funds, and State Department of Commerce (formerly CTED – Community Trade and Economics Development) Funds. The district constructed 13 new replacement elementary schools and 1 new replacement high school. Bond elementary school specifications include 66,500 square feet, 550-600 student capacity, 26 classrooms, library, full-sized gymnasium, earthquake reinforcement, fire alarms and sprinklers, ADA accessible, air-conditioned/energy efficient construction.
