Informational flyer and membership application from the Greater Highline Community Parks Board (GHCPB) describing the North Sea-Tac Park (NSTP) and Sunset Activity Center in Burien, Washington. The 50-acre North Sea-Tac Park was developed in the north clear zone near Sea-Tac Airport, with lands subleased at $1.00 per year to groups including Kennedy High School (cross country trails), BMX Club (bicycle motocross course), and an Equestrian Association (horse practice arena and bridal trails). The Sunset Activity Center is a $10 million facility (former Sunset Junior High) leased by King County to the Parks Board. The master plan map shows the park boundaries between Des Moines Way S., 12th Ave S., 24th Ave S., S. 135th St., and S. 154th St., with an extension to the site of a proposed Boeing headquarters and a recommendation for an additional 9 golf holes. The planning firm Jongejan, Gerrard and McNeal developed the comprehensive plan in 1979 jointly funded by the Port and King County. Includes board member contacts (Bill Bowlin, Chuck Branson, Linda Patridge, Marybelle Terhune, Bruce Bowden, Dottie Harper, Rob Cahill) and a Booster Club membership form with fee tiers: Active $3.00, Patron $10.00, Business $25.00.
