Letter dated November 30, 1999 from Earl Munday, Aviation Project Management Group, Port Of Seattle, to Dave Hilmoe, Director of Water Quality and Supply, Seattle Public Utilities, reporting fourth quarterly stormwater monitoring results for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport North Employees’ Parking Lot (NEPL) per Condition 7 of the Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between Port Of Seattle and City of Seattle Public Utilities. Results from January 14, February 22, May 15, and October 8, 1999 sampling at the bioswale outlet from the stormwater detention vault, analyzed by Aquatic Research, Inc. Parameters include Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH), pH, Total Cadmium, Total Copper, Total Lead, and Total Zinc, compared against Washington State residential water supply criteria. All metal concentrations were several orders of magnitude below residential water supply criteria; cadmium and lead below detection limit. Port proposes discontinuation of NEPL Phase 1 monitoring.
