EXH 1268: King County Letter to Ecology on Port Of Seattle Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan for Sea-Tac Airport Master Plan Improvements

Notes

August 3, 2001 letter from Pam Bissonnette, Director, King County Department of Natural Resources, to Ann Kenny, Senior Permit Specialist, Washington Department of Ecology, Northwest Regional Office, regarding King County’s technical review of the Port Of Seattle’s Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan (SMP) for Master Plan Update Improvements at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac). King County found the SMP consistent with the 1998 King County Surface Water Design Manual (KCSWDM) and demonstrates a feasible conceptual strategy for Full Drainage Review compliance. Enclosure 1 covers review scope and limitations; Enclosure 2 summarizes surface water facilities proposed for construction including volume, drainage area served, and impervious area. Review limited to Master Plan Update Improvement projects per SMP Table A-5; procedural KCSWDM requirements excluded from scope. Exhibit AR050882.
