Notes
FAA Order 1050.1F establishes the Federal Aviation Administration’s policy and procedures for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and implementing regulations issued by the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ). The Order applies to actions directly undertaken by the FAA and to actions by non-Federal entities where the FAA has authority to condition a permit, license, or other approval. It updates the previous Order 1050.1E to provide clearer, more concise NEPA requirements and to facilitate timely environmental reviews of FAA actions, including NextGen improvements.
