Port of Seattle Commission presentation dated February 8, 2022 (Item 10d) requesting authorization for the Executive Director to execute contract agreements and implement the 2022/2023 Economic Development Partnership Program with King County cities in an amount not to exceed $1,860,000. The program provides annual grant funding to King County cities on a $1 per capita formula, capped at $60,000 for large cities and with a $5,000 minimum for smallest cities, with a 50% project match requirement (up to 25% in-kind). Commission also authorizes use of unutilized program funding to advance regional initiatives supporting equitable and small business recovery. Includes example of City of Kenmore ‘Back Our Businesses’ campaign.
