Corps wetland and aquatic resource impact analysis

This document analyzes the environmental impacts of construction projects at a north airfield area on wetlands and waterways in the Miller Creek Basin. It details how filling approximately 2.75 acres of wetlands and 980 linear feet of Miller Creek will affect water quality, hydrology, fish habitat, wildlife, and plant communities. It also describes a compensatory mitigation plan at the nearby Vacca Farm site, where Miller Creek will be relocated and wetlands restored to offset the project's ecological losses.

Notes

This document provides the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ analysis of wetland and aquatic resource impacts associated with airport development projects in the Miller Creek Basin, including the Runway Safety Area/North Airfield and Vacca Farm Mitigation Area. It details impacts to wetland acreage, stream linear footage, floodplain fill, and evaluates effects on water quality, hydrologic, and habitat suitability functions. The document also describes compensatory mitigation activities planned for the Vacca Farm site, including relocation of a portion of Miller Creek.
