City of SeaTac Regular City Council Meeting presentation dated March 9, 2021, seeking a motion authorizing the City Manager to execute an amendment to an existing Interlocal Agreement between the City of SeaTac and King County to receive a $500,000 Conservation Future Tax Levy grant, equally matched by the City, to acquire approximately 8 acres of surplus WSDOT forested land adjacent to Des Moines Creek Park. The acquisition would expand the park, relocate the trailhead, improve public access, preserve a salmon-bearing stream corridor, and fulfill goals listed in the PROS Plan. The surplus property is owned by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
