The mayors of Burien, Des Moines, and SeaTac jointly write to Port of Seattle Commissioners to challenge the assertion that SAMP Near-Term Projects will have no significant impact on surrounding communities. The letter calls for full environmental review of disproportionate impacts on airport-adjacent and historically disadvantaged communities. It specifically demands that the SEPA Draft Environmental Impact Statement comment period be extended from 60 days to at least 120 days.
