Notes
A letter from Azous Environmental Sciences to the US Army Corps of Engineers reviewing Wetland 44a and its relationship to the proposed SR509 temporary interchange in SeaTac. The author conducted a site visit and found a significant discrepancy between actual conditions and what was shown on HNTB project plans, concluding the wetland may be 20-40 feet closer to SR509 than documented. The letter warns of potential significant sedimentary discharge impacts to Wetland 44a and connected waterways including Walker Creek and Miller Creek.
