Letter dated August 3, 2001 from Pam Bissonnette, Director of King County Department of Natural Resources, to Ann Kenny, Senior Permit Specialist at Washington Department of Ecology Northwest Regional Office, conveying King County’s technical review findings on the Port Of Seattle’s Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan (SMP) for Master Plan Update (MPU) Improvements at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. King County concludes the December 2000 SMP (as revised July 2001), prepared by Parametrix Inc., is consistent with the 1998 King County Surface Water Design Manual (KCSWDM) under Full Drainage Review standards. Enclosure 1 details review scope and limitations including KCSWDM core and special requirements compliance; Enclosure 2 summarizes proposed surface water facilities. Review limited to MPU Improvements per SMP Table A-3; excludes procedural KCSWDM requirements; notes Clean Water Act and Endangered Species Act standards not yet applied.
