Proposes filling 7.38 acres of wetlands to construct an 8,500-foot parallel third runway at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac), plus 2.34 acres for Runway Safety Areas (RSAs) and 1.70 acres for South Aviation Support Area (SASA), totaling 11.42 acres of wetlands impacted including forested, shrub-scrub, and emergent wetlands. Work also involves filling and rechanneling approximately 980 feet of Miller Creek, 2,280 feet of drainage channels in the Miller Creek basin, and 2,200 feet of Des Moines Creek, located in SeaTac, King County, Washington. Requires approximately 20.6 million cubic yards of fill. Mitigation includes Miller Creek relocation, Auburn Green River wetlands replacement at 2:1 forested ratio (~14.68 acres), and off-site compensatory wetlands.
