By-laws of the Highline Community Council, an independent, non-profit, non-partisan community organization serving the Highline School District #401 geographic area. Covers organizational structure (ten elected representatives from five high school service areas, fifteen appointed members, Associates), Executive Committee composition (President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer), objectives, council membership eligibility (age 18+, residence within Highline Community boundaries), terms of office (elected two-year terms, appointed one-year terms), officer duties, and officer term limits (no more than two successive terms). Initiation fee of $5.00 for appointed members; Associates pay $4.00 yearly mailing costs.
