Presentation by Mark Reis, Managing Director of the Aviation Division at Port Of Seattle, to the Washington State Transportation Commission on May 20, 2015, covering the Sustainable Airport Master Plan (SAMP) for Sea-Tac Airport. Covers Sea-Tac Airport 2014 statistics: 37.5 million passengers (up 7.7%), 340,000 flight operations, 327,000 metric tons cargo (up 9%), $220 million retail sales, 170,000 jobs. Future growth initiatives include NorthStar Alaska Hub, International Arrivals Facility, and SAMP. Environmental stewardship programs include carbon accreditation (1st airport in North America), LED lighting, EV charging stations, renewable natural gas buses, alternative fuel taxis, pre-conditioned air and electric ground service equipment for airline partners.
