Stantec mobility analysis (Appendix A, Section 7) from the Department of Commerce 2019 Sea-Tac Airport Communities Impact Study, covering the period 1997–2019. Examines traffic congestion (travel delay times), residential area parking, and pedestrian access around Seattle-Tacoma International Airport across six study area cities. Data sourced from Port of Seattle, WsDOT, Sound Transit, King County Metro, and Google Earth aerial photography. Documents infrastructure changes including the 2010 consolidated rental car facility (1.5 miles north of terminal on U.S. Highway 99 at South 160th Street, 14 rental car companies, 29 shuttle buses), expansion of the main parking garage from 10,000 to 13,000 spaces in 2000, and reallocation of approximately 3,000 spaces when rental car operations relocated by 2012. As of 2019, the main garage provides approximately 11,000 public spaces plus 2,000 reserved spaces including 766 for airport employees.
