Appendix G of the May 1997 Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) for the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (STIA) Master Plan Update, prepared by the Port of Seattle and the FAA Northwest Mountain Region. Contains public and agency comments on the February 1997 Draft Supplemental EIS. The SEIS addresses proposed development actions including construction of an 8,500-foot third parallel runway (Runway 16X/34X) separated 2,500 feet from existing Runway 16L/34R, extension of Runway 34R by 600 feet, new air traffic control tower, north unit terminal, South Aviation Support Area cargo/maintenance facilities, and parking and access improvements. Environmental impacts assessed include wetlands, floodplains, stream relocation, noise, air quality, water quality, and historically significant sites.
