Port of Seattle Addendum #4 (POS SEPA No. 01-16, August 10, 2001) to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Master Plan Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (FSEIS) issued May 13, 1997. Addresses project design changes to Borrow Source Areas 3 and 4 for third runway embankment fill material excavation, and incorporates the FAA’s NEPA Reevaluation Document. Borrow Area 3 footprint reduced from 60 to 48 acres (23 acres excavated), excavated volume reduced from 2.9 MCY to 1.0 MCY, cut depth changed from 0–55 feet to 15–100 feet, and 2.35 acres of wetlands north of S. 208th Street protected within 50-foot buffer. Borrow Area 4 footprint remains 40 acres (34 acres excavated), volume reduced from 0.3–2.2 MCY to 1.3 MCY, cut depth changed from 15–20 ft to 15–90 ft, SR 509 corridor material added, topsoil management plan added, and property buffers expanded from 30 ft to 50 ft.
