Notes
Section 4.5.2 of the Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan for STIA Master Plan Update Improvements, December 2000, Port of Seattle. Documents stormwater quality monitoring data from SDS outfalls (1994–2000) under NPDES Permit requirements. Table 4-8 compares STIA runoff quality against regional and national urban stormwater benchmarks including Bellevue Sturtevant Creek, Bellevue Urban Runoff Program (BURP), King County Metro 1982, EPA National Urban Runoff Program (NURP) 1983, City of Portland NPDES, and Interstate 5 freeway runoff. Constituents measured include FOG (fats, oil, grease), TPH (total petroleum hydrocarbons), fecal coliforms, BOD, TSS, turbidity, ammonia (NH3), total recoverable copper (Cu TR 26 µg/L), lead (Pb TR), and zinc (Zn TR). Notes that STIA median concentrations are generally lower than urban stormwater except for total recoverable copper. References Port of Seattle 2000b, exhibit number 41, AR 017573.
