City of Normandy Park City Council regular meeting agenda for December 10, 2024, held at City Hall, 801 SW 174th St and via Zoom. Consent agenda includes: renewal of the expired Sustainable Airport Master Plan (SAMP) Interlocal Agreement (ILA) among four cities — Normandy Park, Des Moines, Burien, and SeaTac — originally adopted March 2018, presented by Community Development Director Nicholas Matz; Solid Waste Management Contract with Bin There Consulting; Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) Grant for overlay of Marine View Drive; meeting minutes from October 2023 through October 2024; and claims checks totaling $521,460.67 plus payroll of $137,243.69. New business includes approval of a G&O contract for stormwater improvements at SW 166th & 3rd Avenue SW, the City of Normandy Park 2025 Legislative Agenda presented by City Manager Amy Arrington, and discussion of a proposed sports court. The SAMP ILA amendment would revise the Duration section to sunset only upon completion of the SAMP NEPA Environmental Assessment (EA) process; Normandy Park’s population-proportionate share is 5.6% of funding costs ($9,800 originally).
