STCP zone3 1979 07 03 pac application zalud community representation pdf

Notes

Letter dated July 3, 1979 from Virginia Dana on behalf of the Zone 3 Steering Committee to Jeanne Zalud, 2831 S. 221st, Des Moines, WA, acknowledging her application for a seat on the Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) for the Sea-Tac Communities Plan (STCP) from the south noise impacted area. The steering committee, at the request of PAC chairman Oris Dunham, voted on July 2, 1979 to postpone discussion of proper community representation on PAC until January 1980. The committee’s position is that citizen representation on PAC should be by residents of affected communities, with north and south representation from noise remedy areas and east and west from land use areas — four citizen representatives total. Also includes Jeanne Zalud’s original handwritten application letter dated May 27, 1979, in which she applies for a PAC seat citing working knowledge of the STCP, availability for quarterly meetings, and seven years of residence in Zone 3 and at 19306 Occidental.
