Port of Seattle press release dated September 20, 2024, announcing the release of the draft NEPA Environmental Assessment (EA) for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport’s (SEA) Sustainable Airport Master Plan (SAMP) Near-Term Projects (NTPs) on October 21, 2024. Public comment period runs October 21 through December 5, 2024. The SAMP includes 31 NTPs such as a second terminal, an elevated busway, and new cargo facilities, responding to projected Puget Sound regional population growth of one million people by 2035.
