Federal Register notice (Vol. 89, No. 244) announcing FAA approval of the Noise Compatibility Program (NCP) Update for Naples Municipal Airport (APF), Naples, Florida, submitted by the Naples Airport Authority (NAA). FAA approved nine of ten proposed measures effective December 9, 2024, including Land Use Measure 1 (Residential Sound Insulation Program), Land Use Measure 2 (Comprehensive Planning, Zoning and Building Codes), Land Use Measure 3 (Purchase Avigation Easements), and six Program Management Measures (Fly Quiet, NOMS, flight track monitoring, community outreach). Noise Abatement Measure 1 (Increase Glide Slope to Runway End 5) received no action pending further FAA review. Review governed by 49 U.S.C. 47504 and 14 CFR Part 150; Noise Exposure Maps (NEMs) effective December 9, 2021. Federal funding requests directed to FAA Orlando Airports District Office.
