
The Des Moines, WA City Council considered the sale of a small city-owned parcel called Tract C (approximately 19,881 square feet) to the Port of Seattle for $690,000 to support the Des Moines Creek Business Park West development, which is expected to create 600+ jobs near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The Port plans to use the land as a private truck access route for commercial cargo vehicles serving the new business park.
