Port Of Seattle Commission presentation dated February 10, 2025, providing an update on the Sound Insulation Repair and Replacement Pilot Program (SIRRPP) pursuant to Commission Order 2024-04. The order directed an assessment of the effectiveness of previously installed Port of Seattle-funded noise insulation packages, with a tax levy-funded budget of $6.5M ($5M reserved for design/construction). The program schedule covers Commission Order (Feb 27, 2024), postcard and survey outreach (May–August 2024), acoustic testing (Aug 19/30, 2024), draft technical report (Nov 22, 2024), Final Report Approval (Dec 23, 2024), and Design/Construction Kickoff in 2025. The Port was directed to use its equity index from the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion to prioritize properties. Survey letters were translated into 6 languages and mailed June 3, June 24, and July 15, 2024.
