Second report (December 1999) by the Washington State Department of Health and Public Health – Seattle & King County on community health concerns around Sea-Tac Airport. Prepared by epidemiologists Juliet VanEenwyk, Lillian Bensley, Richard Hoskins, David Solet, and toxicologist David McBride, with community representatives Arlene McKeeman Brown, Hansa Topiwala, Audrey Richter, and Rose Clark. Addresses ten work plan questions covering cancer prevalence (breast cancer, glioblastoma) near the airport, elevated glioblastoma incidence rates west of Sea-Tac Airport, jet engine exhaust emissions and chemical dispersion, respiratory disease in schools under the flight path, and air quality monitoring. Includes data on buyout area, airport employment, and cancer incidence 1992–1996.
