A project update presentation to the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Land Use Policy Committee regarding the DCA South of Airport Aircraft Noise and Mitigation Study. The study addresses changes in flight paths after the Metroplex implementation that resulted in increased overflights of residential areas south of Reagan National Airport, with objectives to reduce overflights and noise exposure for residents in Alexandria and Fairfax and Prince George’s Counties.
