Revised agenda for the Des Moines City Council regular meeting of May 17, 2012, called to order by Mayor Kaplan. Consent calendar includes: approval of April 26, 2012 meeting minutes; Draft Resolution No. 12-078 authorizing the City Manager to submit a Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) grant application to the Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) under RCW 790A.15 for the Barnes Creek Trail Acquisition Project; Draft Resolution No. 12-056 authorizing Destination Des Moines to use City property for four summer events (Fireworks Over Des Moines, Waterland Community Barbeque, Des Moines Classic Car and Boat Show, Waterland Parade) with up to $14,000 in City in-kind services; and Item 4 directing City Manager and staff to work with participating cities on the Seattle Southside Tourism Promotion Area (TPA) and Tourism Development Authority. New business includes Inspection and Permitting Process and Redondo Heights Pipe Replacement Project (Loren Reinhold). Old business includes continued budget discussion by Planning Building Public Works Director Grant Fredricks. Next meeting May 24, 2012.
