The Airport Communities Coalition (ACC) filed an emergency motion for injunctive relief with the Washington Supreme Court, seeking to enjoin the Department of Ecology from approving embankment construction and fill placement, and to enjoin the Port of Seattle from taking any action at the Third Runway Project site pending resolution of consolidated appeals. ACC sought the relief because public records indicated the Port planned to begin depositing fill and construction ‘in April,’ before the Court had issued its decision on the pending appeals argued November 18, 2003.
