Presentation by the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) on the Regional Aviation Baseline Study covering 29 regional airports across King County, Snohomish County, Kitsap County, and Pierce County in the central Puget Sound region. Study objectives include identifying roles of each airport, providing a regional perspective on aviation activity interactions with communities and the broader economy, obtaining stakeholder input on aviation and airspace constraints, and identifying future aviation needs. Airports depicted include Sea-Tac Airport, Boeing Field, Paine Field, McChord Field, Bremerton, Auburn, Renton, Harvey Field, Thun Field, and numerous seaplane bases (SPBs). Covers NPIAS (National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems) classifications including Large Hub, Small/Non-Hub, Military, and Non-NPIAS airports.
