Notes
Northwest Hydraulic Consultants, retained by the Airport Communities Coalition, writes to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers identifying inconsistencies in the Port of Seattle’s proposals for site development and stormwater management at Sea-Tac Airport. The letter presents two main comments: that proposed future land use development at borrow pit areas contradicts the Port’s justification for ignoring those conditions in the Stormwater Management Plan, and that the Natural Resource Mitigation Plan reverts to an old stormwater management proposal relying on Regional Detention Facilities not examined in the current SMP.
