Direct testimony of Ching-Pi Wang submitted on behalf of the Department of Ecology

Notes

Direct testimony of Ching-Pi Wang, Environmental Engineer 4 with the Washington Department of Ecology, submitted in PCHB No. 01-160 before the Pollution Control Hearings Board. Wang describes his role directing the pathways analysis for the SeaTac groundwater modeling project, which examined contaminant migration from beneath the airport operations and maintenance area. The testimony summarizes findings that contaminants have not migrated far from source areas and groundwater flow in perched aquifers generally moves away from the third runway.
