Meeting summary of the SEA Stakeholder Advisory Round Table (StART) hybrid session held August 26, 2026, facilitated by Andrés Mantilla of Uncommon Bridges, with Wendy Reiter, Airport Managing Director, Port of Seattle. Primary agenda item was review of StART Operating Procedures, covering five feedback themes: Leadership & Governance (Steering Committee composition, Co-Chair model, agenda setting, intersection with Highline Forum), Public Participation & Access (timing of public comment, Zoom/hybrid format, transparency, quarterly meeting consideration), Accountability & Follow-Through (tracking recommendations, direct contact with Port Commissioners, immediate meeting recordings), Process Clarity & Consistency (member transitions, periodic review schedule), and Decision-Making & Consensus (how consensus is defined, handling differences of opinion). Updates included nomination of Moira Bradshaw (Normandy Park Community Representative) to the FAA’s Aircraft Noise Advisory Committee, upcoming Aviation Noise and Policy Working Group reports from Tom Fagerstrom and Jon Flanagan, and departure of Eric Schinfeld from Port of Seattle.
