Steep Bridge with Traffic

The Eshima Ohashi Bridge in Japan, connecting Matsue and Sakaiminato in Shimane Prefecture, is a rigid-frame bridge known for its steeply angled approach ramps. The dramatic appearance is largely a result of telephoto lens compression, though the actual gradient reaches approximately 6.1% on one side. This image has no apparent relevance to Sea-Tac Airport noise policy.

Notes

Image showing a dramatically steep concrete bridge with cars driving up and down its inclined roadway. The bridge appears to have an unusually sharp angle, creating an almost roller coaster-like appearance with vehicles positioned at various points along the steep incline.
