Approximately 1.25 acres will result from the comu'uction of the stormwater ponds. Ecol%)' has determined that the impacts characterized as "temporary" in the NRMP are not temporal in nature because they will last for longer than a one-year period. The agency considers these impacts to be permanent and has determined that additional m-basin mitigation is necessary in the Miller Creek basin. Additional mitigation is necessary in order to mitigate for hydrologic, water quality and general habitat impacts that will result from the "temporary" impacts. In order to compensate for these unmitigated impacts, the Port will amend the NRMP with the following: • The wetland/riparianzone comprised of wetland Al7b/c/d and waterD will be added to the wetland and buffer restoration/enhancement on Miller Creek. This areais depicted in Attachment A tiffed "Wetland AI7 complex". A 100-foot buffer willbe placed to envelop this system. The wetlands total 2.64 acres and "Water D" totals 0.16 acres for a combined total of 2.80 acres (not inclvdin£ the buffer). The buffer will be averaged, similar to the buffer on Miller…
