Notes
The Port of Seattle filed a motion with the Pollution Control Hearings Board seeking to compel the Airport Communities Coalition (ACC) to make its witnesses available for deposition and to impose restrictions on any site visit to Port property. ACC had demanded unfettered access to Port property for a large group including 17 lawyers, client representatives, and witnesses, which the Port deemed unreasonable given post-9/11 security concerns. The Port sought limitations including capping visitors at 4-5 people, requiring specific identification of attendees and locations, and establishing agreed sampling protocols.
