Meeting minutes from March 23, 1982 discussing methods for soliciting community input on the Sea-Tac/Communities Plan Noise Remedy Program Update. The committee discussed outreach strategies, work scope revisions, addressing noise impacts comprehensively, and concerns about acquisition program timing and funding.

At the January 14 Policy Advisory Committee meeting a presentation was made , 11Kicking Off I' Phase II of the Sea–Tac Coamunities Plan Noise Remedy Program Update e Phase 1, the Noise Forecast Update , is undergoing some final modifications and no "contourslt are yet available e However to get started on Phase II , the application of our forecast and projected noise environment on current land uses, PAC must assist in developing a citizen involvement effort e The first meeting of the Task Force from PAC and elsewhere in the impacted comInunity is scheduled for Thursday , February 18, at 7 : 30 p ,m, in the Sea-'Tac Administration Office Conference Room, it is hoped that members from PAC, especially the citizen representatives , and those members from local municipalities will also make a special effort to attend , Letters of invitation are being sent to other local organizations as well to assure all persons with ideas about citizen participation in the upcoming planning program can be recognized e The proposed agenda for the meeting will be : Introduction Briefing on Phase II Update Current Status of the Noise Forecast Update Current Environment––Regulations , Funding and Traffic Presentation of Potential Citizen Involvement Program Discussion of the Draft We hope to have a recommendation to the Port Commission by March of 1985 so the initial phases of this investigation will play an important part in deciding which direction we need to goe Please help us apply this information about the…
