In any case, the Method A soil cleanup levels are "based on protection of ground water for drinking water use." For many but not all of the contaminants in Method A table, the National Primary Drinking Water Standards are lower than the water quality standards for surface waters. .... In the attached letter to me, Eglick refers to an update email from me to Tom L. where he contends I consider the clean fill criteria issue resolved. The email in question includes the followingquote by me .... "Clean Fill Criteria - The WQ Program advises we should use the language from the o/c/401 with detail added from the procedures provided by Beth Clark. This issue is therefore essentially resolved." As youcan see, I indicated "essentially" resolved. However, on the updated issues listwhich I attached for Tom L., I indicatewe have agreed with the POS on process, but there is no check mark indicating we have approved a clean fillcriteria plan.
