Sea--Tac Airport: Passenger and Air Cargo Activity Number of passengers at Sea---Tac continues to grow More than 46 million passengers passed through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in 2017, representing a 2.6% increase compared to the previous year. August 2017 was the busi- est month yet, with over 4.8 million passengers. Consistent with previous years, the summer months of July and August continue to be the busiest, accounting for 20% of the total passerI- ger volumes in 2017. The airport saw record growth in 2015, when there was a 13% increase in passenger volumes compared to 2014.
