SB 5898 – An act relating to directing the deposit of the proceeds from taxes on aircraft fuel to the aeronautics account
Brief Description:
Directing the deposit of all proceeds from taxes on aircraft fuel to the aeronautics account. This is to comply with FAA guidance which has stated very clearly that all airport revenue must stay on the airport. SB6240 did not move forward for that reason. An amendment has been proposed by Senator Saldana to set aside a portion for noise mitigation–the only allowable community use by the FAA.\
