The Center of Excellence for Global Trade & Supply Chain management is working with iUrban Teen to create a supply chain career awareness program in early August. A group of high school students from underserved populations will come to Highline's campus August 3 - 5 to learn more about careers in supply chain, including from speakers who work in the industry and come from similar backgrounds as the high schoolers. The students will get to visit the airport and get a tour of the air cargo operations. ACHIEVE/Starbucks Immersion Highline College ACHIEVE program had a grant from Starbucks for Future Launch, culminating into a visit and demonstrations at the Starbucks Roastery Port of Seattle’s South King County Fund Grant for Welcome Back Center Constuction Field Project Highline is active with Port Jobs Highline SBDC/STARTZONE support small businesses and micro-enterprises Through second quarter, clients: ● created 28 new jobs (FT & PT) ● Saved 33 Jobs ● Started 2 new businesses ● established $1.6 million in equity ● accessed $1.87 million in financing Coming Soon!
