The airport was built in 1944 and is owned and operated by the Port of Seattle. The Port provides facilities for approximately 44 tenants engaged in passenger and cargo air transportation. In addition to the main terminal, which has four concourses, there are two satellite terminals providing a total of _3 loading gates. Industrial activities at the airport include aircraft and ground vehicle maintenance, fueling, washing, and de-icing. The Department of Ecology has issued National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDE5) Permit No. WA-002465-I to the Port of Seattle for discharge of treated industrial wastewater, non-contact cooling water and s_orm water…
