I have worked as a wetland ecologist and land-use planner in the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years, and as a naturalist and educator for over 25 years. In 1981 I was one of three biologist hired21 by King County to assist in conducting King County's wetland inventory: the firstsuch effort ever undertaken in the Pacific Northwest by a local jurisdiction.
